Hyundai Tucson appeared in 2004 and will be 20 years old this year. On this occasion, the Korean manufacturer is launching a special version of its SUV in Europe. Review of the Anniversary series, which costs from 48,800 euros and is only available in the 2-wheel drive 215 hp hybrid version

Hyundai Tucson in 2024 will exceed the 20-year mark. The success of the SUV should continue, even the day it sees the launch of its 4th generation styled version. In Europe, too, in the first half of 2024, it sold nearly 81,000 units. The Seoul-based company is today expanding its offering at auropa in its 20th anniversary edition and will receive a special presentation at home and abroad. This special series, whose production is not limited, is reserved for the 215hp hybrid version of the two-wheel drive. Purchase orders are already open at prices starting at 48.800 €

Impressive details inside and outside

This special edition of the 20th anniversary stands out from other versions by some aesthetic details, but does not revolutionize the style of Tucson. Externally, it benefits from pine green mate in combination with 19-inch alloy wheels. The perimeter of its windows, as well as the shell of the external mirror, is black. The 20th anniversary plaque attached to the tailgate completes the range of characteristic elements of the compact SUV

The interior presentation also benefits from specific elements. This special series benefits from new black leather and Alcantara upholstery with pine-green stitching. Colors found on the dashboard and front and back door inserts. The front seat headrest and door sill have a special 20th anniversary logo.

High-end workmanship with full functionality

The launch of this edition will be accompanied by a slight reorganization of the Tucson range, with a price increase of 200 euros regardless of the version. The high N-line Executive version also disappears from the catalog with a 215 hp hybrid engine in the two-wheeled version. It is now replaced by this special series. The latter is not available for the 4x4 Hybrid (HTRAC) and 253 hp plug-in hybrid variants, and its range is still available for the N-Line Executive.

The special edition SUV is already available in the brand configurator, which does not offer other options other than the exclusive pine green mate shade. If the price of the invoice is 400 euros, the price will be 49,200 euros. In this regard, we can regret that Hyundai has not integrated this new coloring into the base price of this new anniversary coloring. This new commemorative painting includes N-line executive-level equipment that differs only by specific upholstery and plaque. Therefore, the standard equipment is complete and includes, in particular, a panoramic sunroof, heated front and rear seats, a 12-inch head-up display, a 360° 3D view camera, a remote-controlled parking exit and even a hands-free tailgate .
