Due to its large electric street sedan design, Volvo adopted the characteristics of the EX2024, a 7-seater SUV that will arrive at the dealership at the end of 90. The ES90 thus uses the new SPA2 platform and is equipped with a large capacity battery of 111 kWh. Thanks to more favorable aerodynamics than this, it is enough to achieve the EX90's range of 618 km or more.

In addition, it has 250kW of charging power and a 30V architecture that allows battery recovery from 10% to 80% within 800 minutes. This road car will be available in two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions, thanks to an additional engine on the front axle, and in the drive version it will have a power of 279 hp.

Classic design that becomes clearer

Volvo has released a video teaser of its future ES90 silhouettes. The style of the sedan looks classic with a long hood, a fairly low waistline, generous glass area and taut lines. The first figure shows that the ES90 should have the same light signature as the EX30 and EX90, and a full grille comparable to the latter. The roof line is sloping and the sides appear to be hollowed out at the bottom to give dynamism to the whole

The bug, like the brand's 2 new electric Suvs, is characterized by a spoiler integrated into the trunk and a very thin light with a light signature both vertical and horizontal. In terms of size, the future electric sedan will grow from 3 cm in length to almost 5 m in comparison with its predecessor. With 1.55m below the height chart, it is above all 11cm higher than the latter and has an XXL wheelbase of 3.10m providing first-class livability. Its interior, which is still kept secret, is a premium position for the Swedish car, which could be announced in more detail before the official announcement of 2025/3.
